I would like to take this opportunity to share that Harry Potter and the Wizarding World will always hold a special place in my heart. The Trio’s adventures at Hogwarts helped see me through my husband’s deployments, many moves far from friends, and a lot of personal difficulties throughout the last 20 years. In addition to raising awareness about @dressember and their cause to fight human trafficking, I would like to bring light to transgender awareness and rights. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. In response to this Harry Potter post, I have donated to @transequalitynow and I encourage you to do the same, if you’re able to.
